They have fun with sushi at miyamoto, while nailing the classics. They are a loving staff. I so love my local sushi place! Also, the neighborhood is good for a walk if you're coming from a different neighborhood. So much fun stuff especially on the weekends! Take care all, hang in there.

The fish was so fresh and good quality and the preparation was excellent. The portion sizes were bigger than expected and ratio of fish to rice was great, no skimping on the fish. The spicy scallop nigiri was so good I'm going to have to come back just for that. Service was great.

The best sushi in Portland! I've been coming to Miyamoto for years for my sushi fix, and it never disappoints. Excellent fish quality and creative rolls as well as reasonably priced favorites. They have also got a great variety of Japanese 'bar food' like chicken karaage, as well as the option to order from the extensive beer list from Roscoe's bar next door! Come for the fish, stay for the great vibes here! :)

My personal #1 spot to get sushi when me and friends want a great treat. I love sitting outside after dark with the fireplaces, especially if it's raining a little! The Jalapeño ninjas are the best, even my mom enjoyed them. Wonderful sushi as well. Had the Miyamoto and the black tiger rolls. Our server was delightful as well. The green tea mochi rolls were very tasty.

I ordered 2 rolls from Miyamoto’s while at Roscoe’s, the bar next door. You do need to order something from Roscoe’s to be able to order from Miyamoto’s as well. The 2 rolls were very good! I did walk by the restaurant and it was very cool inside and out. There is heated outdoor seating. I can’t wait to come back here next time!
